About Us
We are a US registered non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to promoting and supporting conflict resolution and reconciliation in the Middle East by working with the top religious and political leaders from the Middle East, United States, and Europe while providing essential humanitarian relief and economic rejuvenation in areas of conflict and poverty.
In recognition of the expanding role of the US government in the Middle East, the CCRR was created in 2006 in an effort to provide ways for the general public to engage in reconciliation efforts in the Iraq and Israel-Palestine conflicts and, in turn, learn more about the historical and modern-day controversies affecting this part of the world.
Mission Statement: Supporting innovative conflict resolution in the Middle East through reconciliation, relief, and education.
Vision Statement: The Center for Conflict Relief and Reconstruction is a unique non-governmental organization engaged in supporting ground breaking dialogue between previously unreachable groups and peoples in an effort to reduce violence and war particularly in the Middle East. Working from the grassroots level upwards, the CCRR also provides crucial humanitarian relief to alleviate the suffering of children, families, and communities in need. By connecting the Middle East with the West, the CCRR provides an inside perspective, and is committed to educating the general public about the need, opportunity, and strategies for conflict resolution and reconciliation in the Middle East.
Though a newly created organization, CCRR partners with advisors and consultants with over 20 years of experience. The CCRR is currently involved with local communities and its leaders on the ground in Iraq, Israel, the West Bank, and Gaza. |
